The Shams Group is seeking a dynamic Financial Accountant to join its Finance & Operations team in Dallas, Texas.

Compensation is based on skills and experience.

Only qualified candidates with relevant skills and experience (if applicable) will be considered. The candidate will need to pass one or more technical tests and interview sessions to qualify for this position.

 Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 
• Experience with accounting software; Quickbooks online experience is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of GAAP; knowledge of taxation laws is a plus
• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency with Excel 
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, honesty and responsibility.  
• Ability to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to take on new challenges.  

 Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting processes coordination and review
• Facilitate internal audits and implement internal control procedures per company policy and Standard industry accounting practices.
• Prepare recurring Financial and other accounting reports plus any other Ad hoc reports requested by management
• Prepare product pricing for client contracts based on company guidelines on pricing determination.
• Review and ensure compliance with vendor and client contracts
• Responsible for tax reporting and compliance activities to be performed under guidance of VP of Finance & Operations.
• Work with company CPA for compliance-related activities, including but not limited to financial documentation.
• Be a liaison between operations, HR and other internal departments for all accounting related matters
