The chart abstractor will collect information such as Allergies, Medication and Problems List from the organizations legacy medical record Continuity of Care Document or Paper record then populate the information into the correlating data fields or locations within MEDITECH Expanse application. Requirements: - Background knowledge of Medical Terminology [Medication, Allergies, and Problems List]
- Accurate analysis and interpretation of critical clinical data
- Demonstrate ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse is preferred.

- Ability to quickly learn new and different technologies.
- Must be able to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel and Teams
- Maintain standards of Confidentiality to safeguard and protect Patient’s Rights and comply with all HIPAA laws
Responsibility: - Meet productivity benchmarks provided by the client and adjust to changes
- Abstract a minimum of 40 charts per person per day for Scanned charts with an 8-hour period
- Abstract a minimum of 60 charts per person per day for CCDA documents within an 8-hour period
- Work Hours: Minimum 4 Hours per day Maximum per day – 8
