Senior Software Developer

The Shams Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and support software solutions and reporting systems within healthcare IT environments. This role focuses on EHR integrations, automation, reporting optimization, and system migrations. The selected candidate will report to company headquarters in Irving, Texas, and may work remotely or telecommute from any location in the United States.
Required Experience:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with:

  • MEDITECH Expanse EHR system
  • SQL programming, including stored procedures
  • Tableau Desktop and Microsoft Excel for data visualization and reporting
  • Summit Scripting Toolkit
  • Automation scripting for reporting and workflow optimization
  • EHR implementation and migration, including Soarian Clinicals
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Quality assurance and testing processes
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain healthcare software applications and automation tools
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting workflows
  • Support EHR implementations, conversions, and data migrations
  • Build dashboards and visualizations for operational and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Follow SDLC and QA processes to ensure reliable and scalable solutions
